Open Door Affordable Housing is a project led by Chamberlain Construction Services Limited, located at 2346 Weston Road in the City of Toronto. This project includes construction and 15-storey building resting on a 2-level underground parking structure. The (P2) lower parking level floor elevation is about 9 metres below existing grade within the sound bedrock of Georgian Bay Formation. A Shoring system has been designed for all 4 sides of the property by RWH Engineering Inc. The shoring system consists of 2 caisson walls along the North and South sides of the property as well as a soldier pile and lagging system along east and west sides of the property. It also includes 2 levels of stubbed out face walers, 2 levels of rakers along all 4 sides and 2 levels of corner braces for all 4 corners.
