332 Chartwell is a custom home project located in Oakville, ON managed by Mazenga Building Group. Aura-Con was contracted engineer and install a 200 linear feet shoring system consisting of pile and lagging. Aura-Con drilled 20 piles to a depth of 10m at 910mm in diameter. Due to the site location and proximity to the lake the ground consisted of silty sand with a high-water table. Therefore, we utilized conventional casings to prevent cave-ins and obtain a dry hole.
